Program Description

The TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM (TTP) provides participants with tools for reflection and growth in the field of teaching English. It provides a sound basis in the fundamentals of language teaching practice, as well as extensive practical training through discussions, lessons planning, task analysis, teaching demonstrations and feedback.
This program has been designed for people who are starting a career in English language teaching, people who already have experience in the field, yet desire to become acquainted with the latest trends in the field, or people who would like to start teaching.

• 54-hour program divide in 3 bimesterly modules (18 hours each)
• Starting dates: every I and IV bimester (January and July)
• Each participant will receive a certificate at the end of the program.

PROGRAM PRINCIPLES

The program is based on three main principles: REFLECTION, FEEDBACK and HANDS-ON INFORMATION AND PRACTICE on specific teaching areas, which participants apply an recycle in their own daily teaching practice. The modules were chosen were chosen and organized to ensure a gradual build up and recycling of knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS

• A proficient level of English (Advanced)
• High School diploma
• Active attendance and participation in discussions and tasks
